My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everyone! My name is Lana. I'm a 2-year-old female Doberman. I weigh around 50 pounds but, as you can probably tell, I'm a little too skinny. I really like food though and I never skip a meal, so achieving a healthy weight shouldn't take me too long.

Some of my best attributes are my friendly and outgoing personality, my happy-go-lucky demeanor and my stunning good looks. My human and canine friends all agree that I'm a super sweet, loving pup.

Why am I in need of a home, you ask? Well, here's my story. My owners decided to surrender me to a high kill shelter right before the holidays. I was so confused and scared, wondering why they would abandon a sweet girl like me. Luckily the friendly folks at CageFree took notice of me and decided get me out of the shelter and work on finding me a new home. So they took me on a car ride to their facility, where I'm currently staying.

I'm still a young dog with a zest for life, so I'm looking for an active family that will take me with them on their adventures and allow me to explore the world! I'd love to go on walks and hikes, make new friends at the dog park, and maybe even play some fetch.
