Norm's Story...
NORM! This senior cutie just wants to go where everybody knows his name. Norm doesn't ask for a lot. He's happy to chill quietly near you and chew on a bone. Or, if you're feeling active, he'll gladly take a walk with you. Norm walks great on the leash and since he is a distinguished senior gentleman, he doesn't tug or pull on the leash. Norm enjoys pets, naps and couch time. He's all the great things about senior dogs- chill, quiet & gentle yet still spunky.

If you have a dog at home already, bring them in and staff can help with a meet and greet. Dog intros are always recommended prior to adopting.

Come visit this awesome 9 yr old Boxer mix in D building at East Valley shelter in Mesa, 2630 W. Rio Salado Pkwy. Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Norm's $20 adoption fee includes neuter, rabies certificate and County license. If you have a dog at home, bring them in and we can help with a meet and greet. Norm- A3859024

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Norm, a Phoenix Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
