My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have a litter of darling, social puppies looking for a home. Their Mom was a 45# yellow lab mix (sorry, we don’t have a picture of her). The pups were 8 weeks old on 12/10/16. They have been wormed twice, and have been given the first of 3 distemper shots – boosters need to be given on 1/8/17 & 2/5/17 (at your expense). They will need a rabies vaccination (again at your expense) when old enough. The pups will need to be altered (spayed, neutered) when they are 5 months old, which is around March 5, 2017. Second Chance will cover the cost of this surgery ONLY if the procedure is done at Life Care Animal Hospital in St. Paul . If you choose to have the surgery done at any other clinic, it must still be done at this date, but now you will need to cover the FULL COST of the procedure.
Puppies are a big commitment of both time and money. They need to be housebroken, guided through a chewing stage of puppyhood, given regular exercise and play opportunities, and will need obedience training. They need to be socialized with both people and other dogs. If you haven’t had a puppy before, do your research so you know what to expect.
Call 651-771-5662 if you have questions or would like to meet the puppies. In order to better comply with the spay/neuter, adopter MUST live within 40 mile radius of the Twin Cities. Adoption fee is $325.
