Feliz Navidad's Story...
My name is Feliz Navidad, Feliz for short, and I am most definitely a VERY happy boy! I was at a local animal control shelter with an eye issue and they were looking for a rescue to take me. Luckily Planned Pethood was able to do so and they got me to the vet where it was determined that it was best to remove my eye. I have healed very nicely and am now ready to find my "furr-ever" home. I am 4 - 5 months old as my approximate birth date is in July-August 2016. I am a long hair black/smoke/gray male kitten. I am a super energetic sweetheart and having one eye does not slow me down one bit! I love to play and will often pick up a cat toy and run around with it in my mouth. I will even grab a feather wand toy and trot around with it like I have some sort of prize! I LOVE attention and one little touch gets me purring loudly. I am so friendly that I like to give hugs and love bites, putting my paws on your chest/shoulder, rubbing my face on you and then nipping your face/neck. I like to cuddle and will often curl up on you or next to you. I will follow you around and lay down where you are just to be near you. I get along with other cats and love all people, but do not know about dogs. I am looking for a home to shower me with lots of love & affection. Will you be the one? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Feliz Navidad, a Toledo Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
