Kalel's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Kalel's Story...
Kalel and his sister Kara were both saved from a high kill shelter just as their time was up! Orange tabbies have the best personalities and Kalel is no exception! He loves to be pet and held and appreciates any attention he can get. He is a big lover, but also extremely playful and can entertain himself for hours with his toys! He loves to play with anything he can hold in his mouth and will run around his foster family's home with his toys. He does not mind dogs and is good with other cats, especially his sister, Kara.

Kalel and Kara are each about 2 years old (est DOB 2/21/15) and would love to be adopted together! (NOTE: In an effort to ensure they go together, adoption fees for a bonded pair are reduced. Fee is $85 TOTAL for the pair.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kalel, a Athens Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Athens, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Athens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Athens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Athens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Athens paves the way for another one to be saved.
