Vika's Story...
This little girl's name is Vika. She is a weim/pit mix and is about a year old. She's a sweet little cuddle bug who loves to nuzzle and frequently ends up in someone's lap. She's very friendly and playful. She loves her canine foster brother but it did take her a few days to accept him. She would love to be in a home with another dog but it may take a few days of supervision until she is comfortable with her canine sibling. Vika hasn't really been tested around cats. She briefly met one and seemed quite excited and overly playful. It is unknown how Vika would be with small children, but she is quite gentle and patient. She also needs a family who is going to work with her on her manners and obedience. Vika is a very sweet girl and would make a fantastic addition to the right home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vika, a Grand Haven Weimaraner/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Weimaraner/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
