Important Note

Lulu is best friends with Pixie. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Lulu just turned 2 in November. She is a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix. She weighs just under 20 lbs. Lulu was rescued with her litter of 5 siblings when her mother was hit by a car. The breeder didn't want to bottle feed the babies so a rescue took in the puppies. Lulu was adopted with her sister Pixie and they are both now looking for a new home. Her owners have fallen on hard times, are losing their home and are unable to keep them. They would love to find a home together but it is ok to separate them.
Lulu loves taking walks, watching squirrels run in the fenced in backyard. She enjoys snuggling on your lap, napping and also playing. She does very well with going potty outside but does also have occasional accidents if you don't watch closely and keep her on a schedule. Lulu doesn't mind going in her crate but she loves snuggling at night with her people in bed. She is an amazing dog and her parents are heartbroken to have to give her up. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Lulu's adoption fee is $150, if you would like to adopt both Lulu and Pixie their adoption fee is $250. Lulu is on the left and Pixie on the right in the last picture. Please email

About Dash Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

DASH ( Danielle's animal safe haven) rescue Is a 501 3c rescue trying to place as many homeless animals in loving homes as we possibly can. We pull breeds of all types and sizes. We rescue dogs from your purse puppies to your gentle giants and all in between. We pull from kill shelters where most pups are on their last day. We try to keep our adoption fees within reason, but they do vary. In rescuing these hopeful pets, there comes a lot of expenses. These fees help with vetting, medications, altering (age appropriate) and so much more. If you are interested in fostering or donating any unwanted supplies, cash donations or even food, please contact 614-307-5597 or 740-412-0369, we are always in need of any kind of help. The more help we get, the more lives we can save. You can also email us.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are not a facility, but rather private homes. If you are interested in a specific dog or cat please contact the foster parent whose information is listed under that pet. If you are not able to contact someone, please email or call our main number. We try to return calls within 24 hrs.

Our Adoption Process...

You can request an application by emailing or and an application will be emailed to you. You are also welcome to contact the foster parent of the pet you are interested in. We like to do a home visit and vet reference as well.
We do not have set fees for all dogs or cats.
We try to list the dogs adoption fee on their page.
Cats and kittens are donations usually.
Most fees range from $150 - $200. Some are lower or higher. But on average that is the range.
