My name is Clarence. Me and my sister Cassidy were found living on the streets of Houston. A good Samaritan saved us and took us to the vet where we have been spayed/neutered, got all of our shots and microchipped. We were very shy at first but we learned real quick that humans give great cuddles and treats too! I?m the more outgoing of the two and Cassidy follows my lead! We have spent our whole lives together and are really hoping to find a home with enough love for the both of us! Email info@joyrides.org to meet us or visit www.joyrides.org to download an application. Age: 9 mos Weight: 8 lbs Dogs? Ok Cats? Ok Kids? Ok Clarence is special needs b/c he is FIV+. FIV cats live safely with other cats, dogs and people. It is ONLY spread to other cats through deep tissue injuries sustained by fighting, passed on by the birth mother and unprotected sex (MOL!) It is not spread through sharing food bowls, cuddling, sharing litter boxes, kisses, petting, or snuggles (and Clarence loves cuddles!) FIV cats live long, happy, healthy lives and are often passed over b/c of misinformation and fear.
