Whindy is a beautiful 3 year old collie mix who would love her own home! She was recently diagnosed with heartworms and Healing Hearts is getting her treatment in Warrenton, VA. She needs a calm home for the next couple months while she goes through treatment (paid for by the rescue at our approved vet in Warrenton).
She is sweet and playful who would love a backyard to play in. She does well with people of all ages including children. Whindy gave birth to puppies in our rescue who have all been adopted; she is now spayed and up to date on vaccines and once treated for heartworms, she will be a happy and healthy girl.
Whindy would probably do best as an only dog as she is reactive on a leash to other dogs. Her foster mom says that " Whindy is the best dog she comes when called, kennel and potty trained. She fetches and loves to run. She also is a sweetheart wanting attention and be with you. She also can just relax. In the home she does not chew up anything or have accidents. She will warn you when a person or dog is in the yard but is fine when you say it's ok".
PLEASE NOTE: HHARG does not have a shelter or other physical location. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes.
