Holly's Story...
Holly may be a tiny kitten, but she has one big personality! This eleven week old princess has been in foster care since she was four weeks old. Holly gets along well with other cats and has been exposed to dogs. She would do best in a home that is prepared for a high-energy kitten!

Holly loves to play with toys and you'll usually find her sprinting through the playroom, climbing up the Kuranda tower. She is not shy when meeting new people, however, Holly prefers playing to being petted and held. This little girl has been spayed, received two sets of kitten vaccinations and is litter-box trained. Her adoption fee is $80. We would love to see Holly find a new home, so stop by to meet her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holly, a Germantown Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
