Moana's Story...
Moana is a quiet 3 year old girl available for adoption. She has sadly lived a rough life outside for the past couple years and unfortunately having litter after litter of kittens. We do not know exactly how she ended up outdoors but it is obvious that at some point she had a family that loved and cared for her because she is very sweet. Moana is a little timid at first in a new environment but with a couple of gentle pets and some treats, she comes out of her shell quickly. She loves other cats and feels a lot more comfortable being around them. Moana would do best in a quiet home with another friendly cat. Her adoption fee is $120 and includes all her vaccines, registered microchip, fecal exam, deworming, FIV/Felv test, and spay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moana, a Joliet Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Joliet, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Joliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
