Chloe's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Chloe's Story...
Chloe came to us after someone found her living on a porch in a box that was way to small for her to even stand up. She was so dehydrated, malnourished and "hunched" from her inability to stand up straight in the box. After some good nutrition, water and vet care she is a happy, healthy girl! Chloe is about 4.5 months old and weighs about 20 pounds. Chloe loves to play with other dogs, is fine with cats and kids as well. She is doing great on housebreaking but is not 100% housebroken yet. Chloe plays with her toys and loves to run around our fenced backyard. If you'd like to add Chloe to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application. Chloe is being fostered in West TN and will be transported once her adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Hagerstown Collie/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Golden Retriever for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Collie/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Collie/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
