found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered and up to date with shots.
Lenny is a beautiful 5 year old Birman mix with beautiful markings and those cute little white feet. He’s a character, but very timid. He spent his life in a hording type situation living in a cage in an unclean environment, possibly used as a stud. He was surrendered (along with 28 other cats from the same owner) to the Central Oregon Humane Society in Bend, OR. They requested that Purebreds Plus take 3 cats. Lenny and 2 Birman girls because they were not responding in the shelter and were being euthanized if Purebreds Plus couldn’t take them. They have been with their foster mom since June 15, slowly being socialized.
He now loves to be scratched under his chin and on his cheeks and the top of his head. He’s still learning that petting is nice. His 2 girlfriends were adopted at Christmas, and since he has been on his own he has become much more interactive with his foster mom. He loves playing with toys and tissue paper and looking out the window on the cat tower.
He’s quiet, but does harrumph (Birman for what’s up) and chirp (Birman for everything else).
Lenny got along great with his 2 girlfriends, but has never been around small children. Lenny needs a home where they will have the time and patience to continue his socialization. He often looks at his foster mom like “I really want to be close to you, but I’m still scared you might hurt me.” He has a way to go before he’s totally comfortable with people, but from where he came he is really doing great.
He will probably be ready to go to his furrever home at the end of January.
He will come to his new home microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and neutered.
Lenny is fostered by JoAnn DeSpain in Roseburg, OR. You can contact her at 541-680-6321 or email her at email@example.com
