If we had a contest here at the kennel for cuddliest and sweetest dog, I think I’d be a strong contender. I just love it when one of the volunteers here gives me a hug or pets me. It melts my heart and I go all squishy inside. I have memories of being hugged and petted that way when I was just a puppy...I can’t remember the details, just that it did happen. And it left me when the most positive attitude towards people. So even though I was out on the streets for awhile with my brother, it didn’t toughen me up. I just carried around that warm thought.

I have pretty good manners too, though I haven’t had the chance to have a lot of training. For instance, I walk very nicely on the leash, and I really enjoy my walks. That’s a very good start and shows just how trainable I really am. Oh, and you’ll want to know that I’m fine with other dogs. My brother was my best friend when we were wandering around together – at least I think he’s my brother because we were found together and do look alike, even though he’s been shaved down and doesn’t have the pretty, fluffy coat that I have.
