Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bell – female, around three years old, spayed, descented, litter trained (as much as ferrets can be). There is an adoption process.
Bell is the sweetest ferret ever. She loves to be held and really likes to have the top of her head and her neck scratched. She likes to play too and really likes to be pulled across the floor on a sheet.
She doesn’t really play with other ferrets and will do better in a home without another one or with a really calm one.
Bell has the beginning of adrenal disease. About 75% of ferrets will get this. It is not deadly unless untreated. It is not contagious. She gets a melatonin implant as treatment every four months. This slows down the adrenal disease and it takes care of the symptoms. These last four months. The rescue does the implants for $40. These should work for her for a long time and then other forms of treatment (surgery, Lupron injection, etc.) can be done.
All ferrets have received two distemper vaccinations at the rescue and have been treated for fleas, ear mites and worms. They are well socialized with humans and I know what foods they like, toys they like to play with and their personalities.
Free to an excellent home. She does NOT come with a cage. The rescue has cages for sale cheap. She does come with pre-made soup, a couple of toys and some bedding with her scent on it. Other ferret supplies for sale cheap: water bottles, food dishes, shampoo, harnesses, leads, sleep sacks, hammocks, litter pans, Ferretone, ferret food, deodorizer, nail trimmers, ear wash, litter, and much more. (She must go home with enough food to last a month, so plan on buying food and any supplies needed with the adoption.)
