Dear prospective family, my name is Daphne and I’m the sweetest miniature schnauzer you’ll ever meet. I’m around 12-13 years old, up-to-date on shots, heart worm negative, crate trained, and housebroken.

I came into rescue after my owner passed away. I was in desperate need of a makeover. Look at how cute I am now! The vet also told me I needed to ‘fatten up.’ I love eating so that’s been awesome!

At my age, I do have some arthritis, a heart murmur, and had a few teeth pulled at my dental. The good thing is that I’m not on any medication for it. Since coming into foster, I’ve managed to grow confidence and strength so I can go down basement steps on my own. However, if you could help me up on the couch to snuggle or assist me in going up steep steps, I’d appreciate it! I’m not a jumper or barker.

I get along just great with other dogs, people, and children. I love being out and about if you want to take me to a dog-friendly spot. I also just love to lay around and be lazy with you!

My tail is always wagging and I’m a very happy, loving dog. My foster parents think I’d make a great addition to any home and always say I’m such a good girl. Please consider making me a part of your family. Love, Daphne
