Harper's Story...
Hi, I am sweet, lovable Harper. I am on the smaller side weighing in around 35 pounds. CDR had to pick a breed but were unsure as to what I am other than one CUTE dog. I would do best as an only dog. I do well with kids but think I’m supposed to be the boss with the little ones, so a home with older kids would be PERFECT! I LOVE playing in the backyard but I am also a good couch pal. I walk pretty on a leash unless I see something interesting…then I do get pullie, so practice is a must! Based on my warm personality and sweetness, CDR thinks I will make someone a GREAT new friend!
Hope to see you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harper, a Schaumburg Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Schaumburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Schaumburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schaumburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schaumburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schaumburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
