Hi Everyone! My name is Jessie!

I am a very sweet 10 month old girl who still has a lot of puppy left in me. My foster parents know that an elderly woman had to give me up because she could no longer care for me. It is obvious my former owner invested a lot of time and guidance into training me.

I am house trained.

I do very well getting a bath, being groomed and having my nails trimmed.

I like to ride in the car and I sit patiently waiting for you to get out first and tell me when it is ok for me to get out.

I walk pretty well on a leash, but do get excited sometimes and want to tug.

I know I am not allowed to be on the furniture, but I occasionally get excited and forget so I need some reminders.

I like to use my front paws and sometimes I will bat you with them in order to get your attention, but we are working on this.

I will go into my crate willingly, and eat my food in there, but I do not like to be in there for longer periods of time, and I will begin barking and howling to let you know I want out so that I can be near my foster family and my 3 foster fur siblings.

My foster family is working with me on being comfortable in the crate and I usually calm down after I have been in there for 5-10 minutes.

I am a very confident girl. I love people! I love other dogs! I have not been around children or cats at my foster home yet. My foster parents think I would be fine around both since I have not shown any signs of aggression towards anyone nor anything I have been exposed to.

I know a few commands such as sit, shake and no.

I have all of the great traits on being a great family dog. I am a sweet, loving, and well mannered girl who is ready to find my Forever Family!
