Diego's Story...
Diego is a cute little 7 year old Beagle/Pug mix. He is very friendly and loves people, especially men. He came from a hoarding situation and never had a person or home of his own, so he gets very attached to his people. Diego would do best as the only pet and would need to be crated when left alone. He loves to snuggle and hang out with his people all day. He would love an owner who could spend lots of time with him. Diego is a very sweet little guy who has had a tough life and deserves a loving home. Please consider adopting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diego, a Freeport Beagle/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Pug for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Beagle/Pug dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Pug breeders who help with Beagle/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
