Maria is a female Vizsla/lab mix who is eagerly waiting for someone to love! She’s a little over a year old and very lovable, loyal, friendly, obedient, and smart. She’s good with other dogs, cats and loves to go for long walks, and loves to play. An ideal home would be one where she can run and exercise and play. She is very gentle and great with kids.

UTD on shots and spayed.

Approximately 48 lbs.

Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), Inc., is a 501(c)(3) not for profit, all volunteer NYS corporation which has been operating on Long Island for 40 years. We are working to create a better welfare system for all the animals in our communities. Over the years, we created, and continue to create, a number of valuable programs which serve to promote our mission to create respect for all animals, to educate individuals about animals, to help people keep their animals, and to provide assistance with the control of the animal population on Long Island. All of our potential families fill out an adoption application. From there, we perform reference checks and a home visit.
