Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This smooshie faced love bug is Rosie. Rosie is a 10-year-old (born in February of 2007) Boxer. Although she is a senior, Rosie has oodles of love and life left in her to share, and is looking to get out of the boarding facility and into a home.
Rosie was used for breeding for 3 years earlier in life. She has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. As most of us do as we age, Rosie does have a few issues, but they do not slow her down. Her hips ache from time to time (Glucosamine daily will help this) and her eyes are starting to get a bit cloudy.
Rosie is an absolute joy to have around. She is good with children (she was raised with three of them) and is okay with other well-behaved dogs after appropriate introductions. Unfortunately, Rosie is NOT good with cats.
Rosie enjoys going for walks, although shorter ones are better for her and she loves her tennis balls. She will even entertain you while she throws them in the air and bats them around the yard with her paws. Rosie loves it best though when you play with her by tossing to ball for her to retrieve. Rosie also enjoys her quiet times and ample naps, especially if she can snuggle up to her beloved human(s).
Do you have room in your heart and home for a sweet old gal to share her golden years in love and comfort? You will not be disappointed and Rosie will shower you with everything she has – her love.
