Sully's Story...
Sully is a 4-year-old (birthday 12/12/2012) brindle pit bull. He is very affectionate, loves attention and is a 65 lb. lap dog. He is leash trained and crate trained. He is neutered and up to date on his vetting. He is an under the cover sleeper with his human and very sweet. He loves people. He knows sit, shake, stay, down, go potty. He loves toys, rawhides and bones. He prefers doggy friends over kitties and we think he will do best in a home without cats. He is used to eating in his crate which is his personal space so he will voluntarily go in his crate for food. The owner is surrendering him because she has medical issues. She has MS and Lupus and is sick a lot. He is too much for her to handle anymore. She has had him since a puppy and is very sad to give him up, but knows she needs to.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sully, a Macon Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Macon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Macon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Macon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Macon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Macon paves the way for another one to be saved.
