Stanley and other dogs go through a lot, from fending for themselves on the street, to the unfamiliar shelter environment, and then if they are lucky they are adopted and taken to a new home. Give them some time to decompress and settle in. Treat them like they are a puppy and don't know any better. The owner needs to show them the rules of the house and what is acceptable and what is not. Some dogs already know this, some need a refresher course, and some have never lived inside so they need to be taught everything.
Stanley is a beauty and we are sure he will make a wonderful boy for some lucky family. He is up to date with shots, has been neutered, and will be micro-chipped upon adoption. Stanley is in Run 25 and his ID is 591076. He has tested positive for heart worms and will need to be treated for those. Please speak with your vet about treatment options
