Facts about Freckles

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray, Blue Or Silver Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 10933650
  • Hair: Short

Freckles is an exuberant, fun-loving kitten. She is curious, whip smart and loves to be in the middle of any activity. Her endless fascination with water leads her to spend happy hours curled up in her foster family's bathroom sink. She also loves to spend time on laps, purring and talking to you. She has a lot to say!

She is very social and would need to be in a home with another friendly kitten or cat. She'd be wonderful with children and probably fine with a dog.

Freckles is eight months old as of January 1, and robustly healthy. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped. Please contact Brooklynbridgeanimals@yahoo.com to schedule a play date in her Greenwich Village foster home.

About Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Our rescue group was formed in December 2007, but all our Board Members have had extensive experience rescuing and working with abandoned animals. We often work with other rescue organizations to find appropriate and safe foster and adoptive homes for our pet clients. We regularly go to areas with abandoned animals and collect them. The animals are taken to a licensed veterinarian examined, treated and spayed or neutered. Every effort is made to work with the animal and our foster and adoptive families to find a suitable forever home.

For those animals who are truly wild and feral, we release the animal in a safe and secure location after it has recovered from its medical treatment. We also work with certified wildlife rehabilitators to rescue injured and orphaned wildlife. Our organization is focused on improving the welfare of the abandoned animals in need of help in Brooklyn. In furthering that goal, our resources are focused on the animals.

Aside from a few minimal overhead costs such as our website and phone services, our entire budget is spent on animal care such as medical and food costs.
