Champy's Story...
Champy's name fits her well!! She is a champ in the true definition of the word.

Champy came to our rescue in an neglected state. She has since been thoroughly vetted and has recovered very nicely. Through a lot of TLC and a wonderful foster mom's dedication, patience, and tons of love, Champy has blossomed!! She is now a lively and very happy little sweetheart! A gentle darling little lap pup who has come out of her shell and is thriving now. Champy has done a complete turnaround; amazing her foster mom with delight! She has learned to be a dog, again. Frolicking with her foster siblings and following in their gentle footsteps. At the tender age of six, she has regained her puppyhood. This is what a true rescue is all about. To see this pup flourish into being a happy, healthy, fun loving little doll - is so heartwarming!

The final chapter has yet to be written - Champy's fur-ever loving home! ;-)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Champy, a Prospect Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Prospect, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
