Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You will immediately fall in love with Rusty! He's a 4 year old Yellow Lab mix that was originally adopted from Friendship when he was a puppy. Now the family is going through a change in lifestyle and reluctantly surrendered him back to Friendship. Rusty is a nice family dog. He's lived with a teen and pre-teen and has interacted with children of all ages. Rusty takes some time to warm up to adult visitors. He is house trained and can be left alone for 8 hours in the home. Rusty enjoys going for walks and is good on a leash. He's a mellow dog that isn't much for running around. If you're a family with kids looking for a nice dog, Rusty just may be the dog for you!
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
