Elsa is a 4 year old, 6 pound Chihuahua mix. She can be a little shy at first, but once she knows you, she is is a real love bug. She gets along fine with other dogs and with cats. With dogs her size, she can be coy and playful in a really cute way. She is house trained and crate trained. She loves to sit on your lap and sleep under the covers snuggled up close. She is fearful of the outside world, so does not like going for walks. She doesn't mind riding in a snuggle pouch or stroller, but if expected to walk, she pretty much freezes up. This might improve with training and socialization. Or when the weather is warmer! She does love playing in her are yard, she'll play fetch with soft toys in the cutest was and likes exploring her yard. She is extremely smart and listens to what you ask her to do. She is an amazing little dog!She does fine being home alone or with other dogs. She waits patiently for you to return. She does bark if someone comes to the door. But quiets down when asked to. When she meets someone new, if you place her in their arms, she'll be content being held. She rides quietly and calmly in the car. She's been riding in her foster mom's car in a crate for safety and does well with that. Elsa's guardian passed away suddenly in December. She is used to being with people most of the time, she is good with children, but would prefer a quiet household where she can blossom. She is used to be the center of someone's universe and is looking for a similar set up! She is a Countess after all.
