Our Adoption Process...
Dogs- $100 Cats- $75
Potential Adopters should first fill out the adoption application below!
Upon adoption, adopter must agree to a contract which states they will have the animal licensed and vaccinated yearly. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption. The adopter has 10 days to return the pet for a refund.
*Safe Haven Dogs* “Safe Haven” classification refers to the dogs in our shelter that are of certain breeds and mixes such as American Pit bull Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier, Chow, Dogo Argentino, Rottweiler or Mastiff. We do not limit Safe Haven dogs to just these breeds, but these are some of the most common breeds we see. In order to ensure the safety of our animals, we require a more extensive adoption process for this group. Some of these breeds are at risk of being used as fighting dog or bait dogs. Sometimes people adopt these breeds for unethical reasons, and not as a family member. This process ensures that these dogs go to homes where they will be loved and cared for as a family member.
