Her mom LOVES her a lot but Animal Control is making her get rid of the dog because she's over the limit She can be adopted with one of her siblings or by herself we only have until the 20th of AUG once they are taken to the shelter they will be killed most likely immediatly because they only know love and the saftey of their home they will be severely stressed in that kill environment Sadly we do not have any matching fosters so cannot take them in but we are here to help re home them into the right matching forever homes
Tux is 1.5 years old always loved raised in a real home
trained, never in a pound
no trauma
she is a gentle and very loving dog in her home but will get severely stressed
when going to a new home and will growl not because she's aggressive but severely scared so we are looking to place her only with one of her siblings
or you can foster the sibling and adopt her
once settled in she would do just fine as only dog
just not initially she would do best with one of her siblings
or be adopted locally here in the Shasta County area
so she can get to know you a few times before spending time at your home
and eventually staying at your home as a new family member
We are looking for those very few folks that rarely exist any nore
that have no high expectations
but high love patience time and kindness
to let a dog settle at their own time and don't run crying because of a inital growl (IF there would even be one)
she has never had any aggression issues
looking for the right country folks
that truly love and know how to gently handle a scared dog
besides the owner and our rescue are here to help
at home Tux is sweet and mellow
I met her myself a number of times
always sweet loving and curious
looking for mellow calm people
with a slow pace in life
has been around a mellow 12 year old boy
without problems
but not a kids dog
she's a companion dog
large dog or breed experienced a must
looking for extra special folks
stable homeowners over the age of 35 years
someone home during the day
fenced yard a must
this is a super special gal looking for her equal in her extra loving humans
She is a companion dog to calm quiet adults that live in the country or outskirts of town as an indoor dog with outdoor play
home bodies preferred but going on country type outings ok after settling in
She has only lived in the country and has not been out and about
she is willing to learn in babysteps if you are willing
otherwise she's fine as a at home dog on fenced property
with lots of love hanging out while you garden etc
play with another dog and enjoy the quiet peaceful life
Tux has a gentle loving spirit once she trusts you and you have given her the chance to feel comfy after a move
Enjoys running and playing with the other dogs for a bit
then lounging around or patrolling the large yard
Knows commands,sit,stay,come etc.
Special talents gives high fives.
Good with kids and has manners.
If kids at home one or two nice older kids
kids that have that same gentle spirit as she has
