Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATE Belle has warmed up beautifully in her foster home. She has responded so well to the calm structure and finds comfort in knowing what to expect. She is so affectionate and LOVES to be petted and give kisses. Maybe a little too much lol. Her very favorite activity continues to be playing with her oversized Orbee ball and her oversized Kong green felt squeaker ball. She would play fetch far longer than we choose to but will also toss and chase them herself if we are done fetch. Belle is a muscular, athletic, gorgeous girl who needs the opportunity to let off steam. She does get tired, mostly for an afternoon nap and then sleeps quietly through the night. Belle gets very excited with the other dogs in the house and is definitely a dominant dog. She has shown no aggression, but she'd need to be with a stable dog who will tolerate her dominance. She has not shown any food or resource guarding whatsoever. The nub just never quits! We still feel she'd do best with an experienced adopter.
Meet Madame Belfry, Belle for short! Belle is a stunning Rottie who was surrendered to the city shelter. She is brand new to us, so we still need some time to learn more about her ourselves. Belle is very strong and muscular, but her desire to be obedient is sometimes tempered by obvious heavy-handedness from her previous home. She needs some time and patience to warm up to new situations. In her current foster home, it was a matter of a few days until her vibrant personality began to shine through. She is very eager to please. Her dream life would be to be able to play with balls 24/7. It was actually what relaxed her at the beginning of her time in the rescue. Any nervousness disappears when she sees there's a ball to play with. Because of her lack of confidence and her energy level, she needs to be with an experienced adopter.
