My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiara was only two weeks old when she arrived at Tree House in July 2002. Besides having a cold, she passed all of her medical exams and was adopted with another kitten that October.

Unfortunately, she was returned to us in 2008 due to allergies in the family. We found out she'd never been taken to the vet and had a few health issues. She needed a dental terribly, which was simple enough to take care of, but we also discovered a minor heart murmur and diagnosed her with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. She is being treated with a pill once a day.

It took Kiara a while to readjust to shelter life, but she is now comfortably settled into the Tree House Development Office, her palace, where she often curls up in her favorite basket atop a desk. She is doted on constantly by staff and volunteers and loves playing and treats.

Still, Kiara would prefer to be back in a home, the environment she is used to and happy in. Consider giving this sweet lady a forever home!
