JayJay (aka JJ) is a 12 year old (dob 7/1/04), short haired gray tuxie. He enjoys a simple, quiet and structured life. JJ bonds with one person and his person has recently gone to college. There are 2 adults and another cat remaining in the household as well as a working dog for each adult. In addition to losing his person, JJ is terrified of the newer dog and has become quite withdrawn.

JJ has been well loved and deserves to have the love and attention of a special person. He would prefer a home without dogs. Another cat would be okay. He is not assertive, therefore he tends to let other animals push him around. JJ’s vaccinations are all up to date and he had his teeth cleaned this past March with one extraction. He is a healthy snuggler looking for someone new to latch on to.

JJ is not the most graceful cat in the world. He has large feet and tends to plod along. He never goes on counters in the kitchen and he never uses furniture or carpet to scratch. He likes to perch in the top of a cat tree. When he purrs he sounds like a baby lion. He likes to snuggle on the pillow in bed and nestle his head against yours-- and purr right in your ear. Sometimes he will crawl under the covers too. JJ has distinct kitty cat sneezes. They are big and so cute. He knows his name and will come when called.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.
