My story

Hi my name is Sophie and I'm a female, 7 year old pitbull. I was turned into the shelter (along with my sister Lola) when our owner moved out-of-state and did not take us along. We're sad we lost our family but they kept us outdoors and as any dog person knows, dogs want to be a member of the family, living indoors as part of the pack not kept outside looking in. I am a very sweet natured girl, relishing the time I get to spend with the volunteers here at the shelter. I walk well on leash, get along with other large dogs and can be adopted with Lola or separately. If you're looking for a mid-energy, sweet girl to join your home and family, please stop by the shelter to meet me.
