Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Misty is approx., a 3-year-old chocolate lab that weighs around 65 lbs., HW negative, and LOVES to play with other dogs. She is a typical lab--loves water (tries to "swim" in her water bowl), loves to play fetch, and is overall very happy-go-lucky and friendly. Misty would benefit with an active family that will exercise and walk her regularly or has a large fenced in yard, so she gets the exercise she needs to stay balanced. She was tested around a kitty and smelled a couple of times and then quickly backed down in a manner that made the volunteer think she was a little bit fearful. With a slow introduction she should be fine around cats. She does get excited when you first take her on a walk so she pulls slightly but that can easily be handle utilizing the appropriate harness. Misty does have entropion on her lower right eye lid which can be corrected with surgery, so a family willing to get this done for her is required. She is currently getting eye drops 2-3 times a day. Misty will be spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines, has already been heart worm tested and placed on prevention and will be microchipped before going to a forever home. Misty is currently in the Auburn, Alabama area. If you are interested in sweet Misty please go to our website and complete the pre-adoption application http://www.southernskiesrescue.org
