Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dr. Reid loves attention. He will gladly let you pet him and sniggle him, though just like any cat he has his limits and he will let you know when he is finished. He also loves meal time, but he doesn’t want just any plate of food he wants the best one – he will follow you and check out each plate you put down till he finds one that he approves of. His favorite spot in the shelter is on the step right by the door to the outside, but we aren’t sure why he has claimed this spot because he never tries to escape he just likes to lay on the stair. Dr. Reid also loves playing with toys, especially the kind that fly through the air so he can try and catch them. All in all he is a purrrr-ty terrific cat.
Dr. Reid would love to be adopted by somebody who will devote lots of snuggle and play time to him.
The cat adoption fee is $100 and benefits the rescued pets of Red Door Animal Shelter. Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, and given the rabies and distemper vaccines. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here: http://www.reddoorshelter.org/adoption-app.php
