Ophelia's Story...
Hi my name is Ophelia, aren't I the most beautiful kitty you've ever seen? Thats what my foster mama tells me. When me and my brother Oscar were about 2 months old our mommy brought us up to a nice ladys house who brought us all inside. At first we were really scared of the lady but she was very nice to us and fed us good food. We then got to our foster mamas house who gave us so many snuggles! She says we have socialized so well. Everytime she pets me I start purring and kneading. I also LOVE to play! Thats the first thing that got me to trust my foster mama. My brother Oscar and I are extremely bonded and we would like to find our forever home together. Oscar is a bit more shy than me so he relies on me to show him everything is safe. We are looking for a forever family who will start us off in one room and spend lots of time with us and give us time to trust them. Does that sound like you? I hope so! Love, Ophelia

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ophelia, a Tampa Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
