Meet Shelby, an adult dog available in Weatherford, Texas. She loves people and is very sweet. She pulls on the leash but we are working on that. She would do best as an only pet or with an experienced pet owner that will provide slow and proper introductions to other pets. She has lived with other pets successfully before but she is not the type of dog you can just throw in the house with other pets and expect it to immediately go well. She is an awesome dog and will make a great companion to someone.


Hi I’m Shelby! I’m a super smart girl and a very quick learner. I’m also super sweet and loving to humans, so much that I would prefer to be in a home where I can be the center of attention. I would be the most loyal of doggies. I’m not a fan of cats at all, but I can, if properly introduced get along with another more submissive dog than me. I like to be the boss, what can I say?!
She is currently being trained to be around cats and is going well.
