ARTHUR is a fun-loving, affectionate, 6-month old kitten who loves other cats and people. He could be adopted with OR without his friend SHAY, a Snowshoe Siamese who lived in the same colony with him. ARTHUR and SHAY were adopted out but returned due to allergies. So we've already confirmed that ARTHUR adapts easily to a new indoor home and loves sleeping next to a person or cat!

ARTHUR has very soft black fur and would love a home soon before he gets bigger and -- as sometimes occurs with black cats -- is overlooked. Rescuers have never understood this ridiculous superstition as we've always found black cats to be MORE intelligent, personable, talkative, sometimes don't shed as much as other colors and, in many countries is a sign of GOOD LUCK! In Japan, a woman has a black cat as a sign she wishes to attract a good husband! In England, ARTHUR would be considered a Good Luck Kitten for 2017 !
