Phyllis's Story...
Poor Phyllis is a sweet dog who was once a family pet. However, her former humans decided it was better to dump Phyllis at a high kill shelter rather than take her with them. Phyllis was about to be put down when her guardian angel walked in and saved her. Phyllis now lives with me in my home as a part of my temporary family until she can find her forever family. Phyllis is very well behaved in the house. She gets along great with other dogs and is very responsive. She just wants to be loved. Can you love Phyllis?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phyllis, a Haverhill Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Haverhill, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Haverhill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haverhill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haverhill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haverhill paves the way for another one to be saved.
