  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less

Hi everybody! I'm Ducky! I spent my whole life in
someone's back yard, even in the winter! Even tho i can't
see so well (I'm nearly completely blind), I think I do have
the ability to see shadows. Don't let my lack of vision
deter you, as I get around great! I love to run in the
kitchen and bark like a little happy-tailed puppy. I am
learning that going outside to do my business is an
adventure! I get to sniff the great outdoors, and walk
around and stretch my legs. I love my food but can't have
treats, as I have a tender tummy. But that's OK, because I
can have a piece of my delicious kibble as a treat when I
am a good girl, which is all the time! I would love to
snuggle in your neck and be forever loved. I get along
fine with other dogs, but really love being the center of
attention. I am a small girl at 9 lbs, just the perfect size
for cuddling with you. I hope someone will see my sweet
little face and find me irresistible!
(Ducky is being fostered in New England)

About Bare Paws Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of volunteers who are dedicated to the rescue, care and re-homing of Chinese Crested dogs in need. We offer loving temporary homes, compassionate aid and veterinary care while working on finding the ideal permanent situation for each dog. We also work to educate the public so that there may be fewer Chinese Cresteds needing to come into rescue.

Our Adoption Process...

$300 adoption fee, which helps defray the cost of veterinary care-vaccinations, spaying or neutering, surgeries, heartworm treatment, etc. Adoption application must be submitted and a volunteer will screen references. Home visit required prior to adoption being approved, and adoption contract must be signed.
