Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kara was a stray kitty living in Marshall, MO. She was found August 9, 2014. When she was found she was pregnant and subsequently gave birth to 4 kittens in one of our foster homes. She is a wonderful but cautious mature cat about 4 years old.
A gentleman who we met with excellent cat knowledge believes Kara may be a Turkish Van mix. This opinion was based on her coloration, markings and the fact that he has one. After talking with him she certainly has all the signs of the breed in her.
Here is a link to a site that tells all about Turkish Vans and displays pictures that sure look a lot like Kara.

Kara is a very loving, gentle cat, however, likes affection on her terms. She enjoys being petted but due to her upbringing and short period living as a stray she is cautious about being held. She prefers to be petted on the ground while she rubs you. She could easily change given the right home and environment. Kara would be a wonderful indoor/outdoor cat in a safe neighborhood.
Kara is in excellent health and very playful. She enjoys human presence and companionship.
Kara has been fully Vet’d, spayed, has received all his shots, been wormed and has an implanted identity tag. She is cat pan trained. She has a great appetite loves cat crunchies and canned cat food.
She would be a wonderful addition to your family. Please call or email us to discuss the possibilities.
