Duncan's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Duncan's Story...
DUNCAN is probably a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix...all black and found in front of a Duncan Donuts shop. A lady who was on her way to the Neuter clinic with her own 2 cats...she found him and picked him up but couldn't keep him. She didn't know what she was going to do and after I talked to her for awhile she offered him to me. The Neuter clinic had enough room to take him right then and neuter him...what a deal.

He is about 1 yr old, 2 vaccinations, Heart Worm Negative; great with people but a little shy of small children. Working on house training. Getting along great with all my other dogs and cats. He's quite a snuggle bug.

Adoption Fee: $350. This includes all the medical, microchipping, health certificate for travel, and all transportation costs to one of the five IH5 pick-up locations. She will come with her own folder containing all her medical records. The next transport is scheduled for January 14th.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duncan, a Olympia Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Olympia, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Olympia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olympia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olympia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olympia paves the way for another one to be saved.
