Phineas's Story...
Name: Phineas
Breed: Beagle
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Male

Phineas, called Phin by his foster mom, is a mellow adult male Beagle who prefers to play outside with his canine friends and then come inside and just chill out. He's a gentle, loving, good natured dog who would be happiest being adopted to a home with another dog. He is used to kids and does well with cats. Phineas is learning the house training and his foster is amazing, so he is a quick study and picking it up. He crates quietly and comfortably for the workday. Phin enjoys walks, sniffing out the fenced yard with a buddy, car rides, and cuddles.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phineas, a Minneapolis Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
