Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Attention! TIPPER Here!
I am a gorgeous, sweet, friendly, happy, male, microchipped, young Australian Cattle Dog puppy looking for my forever loving home. I was born September 8th 2016. I am a happy dog, love to run and fetch and be closest to my family all day long - once I find them. I had a bad start into life, my former owner kept me outside as a yard dog and I have been neglected, and not taken care off. I was so thirsty that one day when I found liquid in the yard I tried to drink it to smooth my throat but it burnt so bad before I could swallow and caused chemical burn in my mouth and on my tongue. My rescue came straight for me on New Year's eve and took me to Southern California Specialty Hospital in Irvine, where the kind Dr. and staff washed my mouth carefully and gave me pain medication and put me on IV fluids as I was dehydrated. They made me stay comfortably over night until I was released to my foster family to heal and enjoy a life and love and TLC and education. I am best suited with an active family, with a secure fenced yard to exercise in and drain my energy. I am a real candidate for a family/person who wants a buddy for hiking, walking, jogging. I am also a real candidate for agility and obedience. Right now I am in need of some training as I am still a puppy, to become the loyal family dog you are looking for. I am not a couch potato at all and physically and mentally best stimulated when I get work. I require regular daily exercise. I am considered a family dog so I am primary indoors. I am smart and intelligent, as my breed belongs to the easy trainable ones - however when there is something in for me - like a treat - I don't say no.
My new parents should have breed experience. Enrolling me in a puppy kindergarten class is a great start. Inviting visitors over regularly, and taking me to busy parks, stores that allow dogs, and on leisurely strolls to meet neighbors will also help me polish my social skills.
Yours with a happy tailwag!
