NAE NAE's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

NAE NAE's Story...
This lovely long haired chihuahua cross took a long time to show her sweet self. She came from a multiple dog household where she was very loved but there was a lot of competition between the dogs, all of whom were inter-related. She was nervous, and was afraid of human touch.

But over the weeks since we got her, and in loving foster homes where she got more attention for herself, she has blossomed into a sweet, loving attentive girl.

She is a young adult - perhaps 3 years of age and would be fine in a home as an only dog (as log as she get enough attention), or in a home with another friendly but not pushy dog.

She would prefer not to be around small children.

We also have MIMI, her younger sister, who is short hair and not quite as comfortable around people she does not know.

We do NOT (except in unusual circumstances) adopt beyond a 50 mile radius from the East Bay, so that we can adequately do a home check and follow up.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NAE NAE, a Emeryville Chihuahua/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Emeryville, or seeking a Chihuahua/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Emeryville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Emeryville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Emeryville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Emeryville paves the way for another one to be saved.
