Scarlett's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Scarlett's Story...
Scarlett was rescued from the city shelter in San Antonio. She was listed as a shepherd mix at the shelter but I'm not really sure what her breed mix is? One thing I do know is she sure is Cute! She will likely be a medium size adult (under 40 lbs). Scarlett is a friendly girl that enjoys being held and cuddled...she will give you plenty of kisses in return! She plays good with the other dogs but doesn't like it when they play too rough. She has a fun, playful personality and a sweet demeanor. Scarlett is looking for a home where she will live inside as a family member, have a secure fenced yard for outdoor play and potty and is best suited for children 7yrs+. Her adoption fee of $175 includes spay, microchip, 2 sets of shots, bordatella vaccine, rabies vaccine, deworming, current flea/tick prevention and current heartworm prevention. She will be ready for her new home as of Jan 20th. A meet and greet can be arranged after adoption application is pre approved.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scarlett, a Austin Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mixed Breed (Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Austin, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mixed Breed (Medium) puppy from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
