United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A5019535 Anders | Chihuahua/Dachshund Puppy
A5019535 Anders is a wide-eyed 1-year-old tan male Chihuahua and Dachshund mix (Chiweenie) puppy who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on December 15th as a stray from La Puente. Weighing 11 lbs, Anders is just too cute, with perky ears, a Doxie-shaped muzzle with button nose, and a comical low-rider build. This puppy is sweet, friendly, and curious. He’s good on leash and gets along fine with other dogs. For a puppy, he’s relaxed and mellow. Anders is really an irresistible little guy, eager to warm your lap and win your heart as a valued companion and indoor pet.
