Meet Thelma! Thelma and her sister Louise (get it?) came to us via another rescue. This is the first time we have obtained a rescue by way of another rescue group but we are glad to be able to provide for the girls. Prior to coming into our care, these girls spent their first 4 months of life in over-crowed conditions. Since we have had them, they have made up for lost time!! Thelma is perhaps the most beautiful pup on earth. She also has the most energy on earth! She will need to go a home that has a very active lifestyle. She loves to be on the move. She plays, plays, and plays. Unlike her sister Louise, Thelma has no self-confidence issues. Thelma loves to be in the company of both dogs and humans. She is quick learner as she is getting used to her crate training and is working of the potty outside. As she is just a pup, Thelma will need to have patient people to help her understand the ropes. . If you are interested in adopting Thelma ($200 donation), please take a moment to fill out our application. An application is required. Please follow the link:

Our Adoption Process...

Poverty's Pets has a Foster-to-Adopt program, where all of our potential adopters foster their fur-kids first, to make sure they can commit to being lifetime parents. When the adoption has been finalized, we ask them to sign an adoption contract and pay a $200.00 adoption fee.
