Mason is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for fosters! Mason is currently fostered in Miramar, FL (Broward County).

Mason is about 2 years old and around 40 lbs. We think he is a border collie or shepherd mix with maybe some lab in there. Whatever he is, he's a wonderful dog! Mason came to us having been hit by a car. We have seen him through surgery, recovery and physical therapy. He had FHO hip surgery last October and is all recovered and ready for adoption. You would hardly even know he had once been so badly injured.

Mason gets along great with other dogs and is very playful. We would like to see him go to a home with a companion dog. He loves toys, especially playing ball in the yard. Mason adores children and would make an excellent family dog - he lives with several kids in his foster home. Mason is loving and a world class cuddler. He is housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic commands. Mason is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm negative. He is ready for his forever home!

About Ewenity Farm Herding Dog Haven

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one on one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are a highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.

It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Since all rescue dogs live in our homes with us or in foster homes, you will need to travel to meet any dog you might want to adopt.

You will need to contact Ewenity Farms HDH to make arrangements to meet the rescue dog.

Our Adoption Process...

We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application. When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We conduct home visits. There is an adoption fee that is usually around $250 per dog to cover any expenses we have incurred. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.
