Hi Everyone! My name is Lazer and I am a 15 year old (approximately) male, Eclectus parrot. I was named after a special, lazer-like sound I make when I get excited.
I am missing a lot of my feathers due to my stressful life before I came to the Rescue but I am happy to stay that since I've been with the wonderful folks from FPR, I have not plucked at all! Matter of fact, I'm even growing some of my feathers back.
I have been offered some yummy foods since I've been with my foster family which has definitely helped my feathers to grow! I love fruits, veggies and 5 grain casseroles (ask my foster mom for the recipe)
My foster mom tells me all the time what a good bird I am! I step up, give kisses and just love being around people. I do seem to prefer women to men, matter of fact, men's hats trigger my lazer sound!. I am a little shy around dogs, which isn't such a bad thing since I shouldnt be left unsupervised around your furry friends anyway.
My foster mom thinks I would make a wonderful companion (I do too!) How about coming out to meet me and seeing if I would make a wonderful companion for YOU!??. I hope to meet my new family very soon.

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird's cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
